Lakes Basin Petroglyphs

Located in Sierra County take HWY 49 to Gold Lake Road, turn left on Elwell Lodge Road Petroglyphs are about 1/2 mile from this point on the right.

Maidu Indians lived in this area for at least 1000 years 2000 years ago.

Cache GC1E0M5 will be close to where you park.
Type of Pictograph: Petroglyph
