Heading northbound from this point is a steep climb (~2000ft) up to top of Viking Mountain and Camp Creek Bald. Then continues along a rocky backbone for some outstanding views in the Cherokee National Forest. Shuttling to the top at Camp Creek Bald will require a 8-9 mile (one) drive on winding roads over 25-30 minutes.
