The Mall and its monuments are a hightlight of Washington DC. The monuments honor America's former presidents and its war dead. From the obelisk dedicated to George Washington, to Lincolns and Jefferson's Memorials. There are also memorials to Vietname, WWI, WWII and Korean wars. My personal favorite is the Korean Memeorial with its stoic soldiers on patrol.

Visit Instructions:
Because of the vastness of many of the "non-localized" sites (Gobi Desert, Great Wall of China), waymark owners are encouraged to allow visits that reflect different perspectives and experiences.
Localized waymark sites (Structures, Landmarks, Businesses) should reflect standard waymarking visit criteria (Logs & photos).
