The Marion Lambert House at 22 Portland Place was built in 1927 for Marion and Mary Lambert. The Georgian Revival style house was designed by architects LaBeaume & Kline.
Marion Lambert was the vice-president of the Lambert Pharmacal Company, makers of Listerine & other medications, a company started by his grandfalther. He served on the boards of the Lambert Pharmacal Company & Warner Lambert, Inc., as well as serving as chairman of the board of Gale & Company, an automobile financing & insurance firm.
