The Dayvue Theatre was opened in 1941 by Jerome and Woodrow Bressler. It replaced the smaller Liberty Theatre that had been located further down toward the center of Dayton. The Dayvue had space for 685 patrons and was built in the Art Moderne style. The treatre closed in 1955 and today houses Saratoga Printing. The building still retains the styling of its past and is easily identified as a past theatre.
