The Indian Museum of the Carolinas has many artifacts and exhibits for the visitor to see. If you are expecting to see just arrow points then you are in for a treat. It is much more than arrow point collections. There is a dugout canoe that was found in a local lake after it was drained. "The permanent collection contains more than 200,000 authentic artifacts, including pottery, jewelry, clothing, tools, and weapons, making it possible to get a cross-section of entire cultures including their approaches to medicine, religion, customs, and daily life." (http://visitnc-soul.com/heritage/lumbee_indian_museum.html ). Occasional traveling exhibits are on display highlighting Native American life and culture. It is also more than just the past also.
