American Pride is dedicated to all veterans who have served. The memorial is a pedestal with an large bronze eagle in flight on top. The eagle was created by sculptor Lyle Johnson. The memorial was placed by the Yellowstone County United Veterans Council on Memorial Day 1992.

I am the American eagle I fly high over this quiet spot. Dedicated to the defenders of America both living and dead who offered their lives for our country. Under my wings there is shelter and rest for my heroes; but the enemies my country will find me a bird of prey, with sharp and terrible talons. I am the American eagle I am the pride of America.
