Sign is located on the north-east corner of the campus. It is the closest approach to the May 4, 1970 Memorial. Until recently, there was hesitation in attempts of memorializing the location where four students died of fatal gunshot wounds in a confrontation with the Ohio National Guard in 1970. Now, however, times are different, and the location is shown on a campus map.
