[FR] La grande voie qui menait de Rome à Boulogne-sur-Mer se diriger vers le nord-ouest, en direction de Durocortorum (Reims). Elle quittait alors la cité par un petit arc de triomphe, qui existe encore de nos jours et qui est intégré aux remparts. C'est l'Arc de la Porte du Marché ou Porte romaine. Il date de l'époque augustéenne (20 av. J.-C.).

[EN] It features a frieze from which nearly all the original relieve work - arms and shields - has disappeared. This arch became a gate when it was enclosed in a 3.5m - thick rampart built largly of reused stone.
