The Montana Purple Heart Memorial is located on the grounds of the Yellowstone County Courthouse in Billings. The memorial lists all the combat wounded veterans from Montana. When the Memorial was dedicated on 11/11/2001 there were 12 panels of names of wounded veterans now there are over 14 panels of names. Also when the Memorial was dedicated six veterans or their families were awarded over due Purple Heart Medals.
