Just after visiting the FHM to the sount, on our way to the park, a presumed Gopher Tortise (Gopherus polyphemus) was crossing the road. traffic was just flying by. I turned on my blinker and pulled to the sholder. I told her to write down some coords (she got the North, i used the W from the FHM).
The cars behind saw what I was doing and stopped as well. the SB traffic kept moving. I snapped pics as I could. He was moving from the intercoastal side (west) to the Atlantic (east).
