Moores Hill Trig point 577m
Could this be Canberra’s lowest trig point? At less than 600m, very likely, but I’m happy to be proved wrong.
Moores hill is in between the Cotter dam and the Murrumbidgee river, just near the Cotter pumping station so views of both are very good.
The trig point is located at the edge of a fenced compound containing a water storage tank.
Moores hill is in the Murrumbidgee river corridor so access is open to all.
Access can be gained off Bridabella road, just follow the short fire trail up.
