Southview Community Park - Colonial Heights, TN - Amateur Baseball Fields on Waymarking.com

The Colonial Heights Athletic Commission (CHAC) was established in 1987 to oversee several youth sports in the Sullivan South school zone. Their website is www.eteamz.com/CHACSports/. Both of my sons have participated in the basketball and baseball aspects of the program. Around 1996, CHAC along with the Sullivan South Community Chest was able to secure funding to establish Southview Park to have permanent ball fields. The community chest and various fees provide for the ongoing maintenance.

There are four overlapping fields to cover t-ball (4-6 year olds) to Senior League (13-15 years olds). Age Eligibility is as of July 31st. While girls' softball is also offered, some girls choose to play in the baseball leagues. Games are scheduled from March through June.
