The posted coordinates are for both the entrance to the Independence Visitor Center and the starting point for "Ride the Ducks". You will get into a vehicle, which will drive a few blocks to the river's edge. From this point, the driver leaves and the captain takes charge. The vehicle magically turns into a boat!
From the "Ride the Ducks" website:
"Experience Philadelphia sightseeing fun from a duck's eye view on Philadelphia's original duck tour. Travel on land and water in one amazing vehicle. Tour historic Philadelphia and SPLASH into the Delaware River at Penn's Landing. Ride The Ducks is the fun thing to do in Philadelphia and it's the best Philly sightseeing tour."

The actual vehicle is based on the famous WWII DUKW amphibious design (see post-war use). Today, the company builds its vehicles from the ground up to incorporate advances in marine design and safety.

You will get to see all of this:
Independence Hall
The Liberty Bell
Philadelphia Mint
Betsy Ross' House
Ben Franklin's Grave
Philly's Vietnam War Memorial
Society Hill
South Street
We also saw the Independence Seaport Museum, Penn's Landing, Tall Ships and so much more I cannot remember! Although we were only on it for about 45 minutes, it can be as long as 70-80 minutes. Our tour was cut short as our group arrived late.
