You can find geodes on either side of the road-it's just that this side has bigger ones that are still in one piece. You do not need any special equipment to get the geodes, you can just pick them up off the ground. There is no limit to how many you can take, just leave plenty for others. There are no requirements to legally collect them. You should also do the nearby cache. If you do not have a camera to prove that you were there, just email me the color of the rock the geodes are made of (not the color of the chalcedony) or describe the area you found the geodes at.
