Original Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Manufactory - SF, CA - Ice Cream Parlors on Waymarking.com

There are three parlors with Ghirardelli square. This is the largest one. Be sure to go downstairs and check out the chocolate manufacturing equipment. They also make fresh waffle cones and fresh whipped cream.

Menu items include all sorts of hot fudge sundaes. The hot fudge is freshly made from real melted chocolate (milk or dark). Shakes and hot chocolate are available too.

The site was use to manufacuture chocolate from 1900-1967. It became a city landmark in 1965 and was add to the National Historic Register in 1982.
