I hopped out of the car to take a picture of a mural at the intersection of Chestnut (Rt. 462) and Third (Rt. 441) and found this tile at my feet. The Lincoln Highway once ran on what is now Rt. 462 until it was realigned to US 30.
Continuing west on Rt. 462 will shortly bring you to the east end of the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge where a Pennsylvania Historic marker for the Lincoln highway stands.
