USS Vermont (BB-20), a Connecticut-class battleship (one of 16 battleships in Teddy Roosevelt's 'Great White Fleet"), was the second ship of the United States Navy named for the 14th state. Active before, during and after World War I, she served mostly support duties and never saw any combat.

I am unsure as to the history of this bell, though. It is much too large to be a ship's bell.

Like the Replica Liberty Bell, this is inside the Pavilion Office Building. Unlike the Replica, this one is just inside the main door, before you get to the security desk. See also this.
