Artist Ed McCullough was commissioned to create a scuplture as a memorial for
Admiral Jeremy Michael Boorda.
The end result was the fourth installment to McCullough's Merdian Series. In November of 2000, this stainless steel sculpture was installed in Conrad Park in Momence, IL.
The associated plaque reads:
