Located within the SF Peninsula Watershed, this exceptional tree may be viewed by hiking approximately 3 miles along the Sawyer Camp Trail (visit link) As of June 2009, the root base area is heavily overgrown, and the views from outside the fence are not spectacular, but it is an impressive tree. You might like to compare your view with older pictures, such as the one included in the gallery. Enjoy :-)
