The ferry crosses the river between Velke Brezno and Nestedice. It carries pedestrians, bikers, cars and tractors. It operates every day, on the condition that the water level in Usti nad Labem is higher than 140 cm and lower than 300 cm.
During massive floods of 2002, it broke loose after being hit by ships taken by the flood from the Usti nad Labem harbour. On June 5, 2004 it broke loose with four loaded cars due to hidden damage on the anchor chain (caused by the 2002 accident).
