The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, located southwest of Pittsburgh, is a collection of horse drawn and electric streetcars, plus some railroad equipment, where you can learn about and ride old streetcars.

Nestled in the rolling hills around Pittsburgh, PA, the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum provides visitors with a trip through time, with a variety of trolleys from different eras. Some of them are even available ride. Two barns worth of trolleys are available to view. Most trolleys have signs that tells something about the trolley. Some of the trolleys even have news articles about its former use as, for instance, a home. One barn is accessible via a trolley ride.
The visitor center, part of the car shop where trolley cars are either restored or repaired, has some exhibits about trolleys and Pittsburgh's trolley system, as well as restroom facilities and a gift shop.
Please be careful walking about the museum. The far tracks is part of an active railroad line. Walking on tracks, in general, is hazardous, since you can slip and fall.
