This large mural is on a concrete roadside wall in the Songtan District of the city of Pyeongtek, Korea, not far from the train station. It depicts happy scenes of town life and sites.

Songtan is fighting hard to maintain its identity after being incorporated into the city of Pyeongtek and this mural is designed to promote community pride. It is also known as the site of the large Osan Air Force Base which has large numbers of both U.S. and Korean forces, only about thirty minutes south of Seoul by train. There are more military installations that will be relocated here in the near future.
The mural is painted on a large concrete retaining wall, depicting various city scenes. (See below). It is unsigned and undated.
