Completed in 1913 this beautiful community landmark was threatened with renovations a few decades ago but better minds prevailed and it was preserved. Officially, it is the J D Higinbotham building - so named to honour the druggist who dispensed the mail from his drugstore starting when the community began back in 1885 until the new structure was finished just before World War I.
