Located at 1704 Mulberry, Forest Cemetery was established in 1832 by the Bissell family, who set aside a ten acre area of their family farm as a burial facility the villages of Part Lawrence and Vistula. The City of Toledo took responsibility for Forest when the two villages were incorporated into Toledo. Today, Forest Cemetery is one hundred and fifty-five acres. Records before 1866 have been lost but this cemetery has over 125,000 graves.
