Refer to Waymark WM6EZH and others in this area for the story about Ward Anderson.
The dedication brick says "In Memory of My Grandfather Ray S Anderson". Mr. Anderson passed away on Nov. 7, 2006 at the age of 88.
Also was intending to waymark the nearby magnolia dedicated to the nurse who took care of two-year-old Ward at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Picture in the gallery of the dedication brick saying "Lydia Colley, Beautiful Person, Compassionate Nurse", but failed to actually take a photograph of the tree. Lydia Colley, PCCU, still works at Vanderbilt Medical Center and was nominated for the 2009 Staff Nurse of the Year Award.
Location of the tree: In Bell Buckle Recreational Area near Ward's Playground
Type of tree: Chinese Elm (per tag still hanging from tree)
