This station is located in Huntington Hills. Along with fire apparatus, it houses a large trailer-mounted generator, which is used at night for lights to help the Calgary Police Service examine accident scenes on the north-end of the city.
The firefighters often respond to crash rescue calls at the Calgary International Airport. They also cover several small light industrial parks and small shopping centres.
The 6,500 acres of wild grassland in our district keeps the bush buggy extremely busy during the grass fire season. They also respond to motor vehicle accidents and obstructions on Deerfoot Trail.
