Twelve, narrow stained glass windows grace the bottom floor of this Chabad (Lubavitch) synagogue. The glass depicts various aspects of judaism and Jewish life. The glass was made by a local artist.

The glass is rather new as the synagogue is also rather new. Some scenes depict a sedar, a hebrew letter, a menorah, the torah and other important particulars. They are very friendly and invited me in for a tour and to daven. I only took pictures of the outside of the glass, careful not to be rude and take pictures of the interior of the glass.
There is a neat domed portico supported by columns in front of the shul. The name and branch of the Chabad are emblazoned just beneath the dome on a curved "register", which is over the doorway. Beautiful stained glass windows on the ground floor decorate the outer facade. The interior, specifically, the main worship area has a separation for the men and women to worship in their own areas. Upon my visit, I watched a man and his young son davening in the corner, a sight which evoked sweet memories of my own father. I felt privileged to watch the transmission of jewish tradition and knowledge form father to son, it was amazing!
Their website is one of the most comprehensive I have seen for a shul. There are countless programs and many, many opportunities to be involved in the large Jewish community found here in Hallandale. There were many people coming and going in the middle of the afternoon. For A LOT more information visit their very interactive website, whose link may be accessed
