Saw this guy during an early (7:15) morning drive on the way to a training class near Bays Mountain. Found a driveway to safely pull off the road, and hurried back because it was on the far side of low rise in the tire track path. Used a trekking pole to carefully move back to the small pond area.

I am not familiar with how many turtles cross here, but the small pond would be a good area for catching bugs.
