Statue of famous "privateer" others named him "pirate". Klaus Stoertebeker aka Claas Störtebeker or Nikolaus Storzenbecher, According to legend, in 1401 Störtebeker and 73 of his companions were sentenced to death and were beheaded in Hamburg.
