The Andrew County Courthouse was erected in 1898-1899. It houses the majority of the county offices including the county circuit court. It is a hydraulic pressed brick building with sandstone highlights and a 120 foot tall clock tower. The roof is slate. The court room on the second floor is 42 X 60 foot and could seat approximately 500.

Savannah has been the county seat since 1841 and the town was incorporated in 1853.
