This dog park is part of a much larger park with sports fields, picnic & boating areas and more. The dog park seems well equipped and provides a separate area for dogs weighing more than 20 pounds and another for dogs weighing less. Drinking water for the dogs is provided. There are stations to wash your dog just outside the enclosed areas. Judging by the size of the areas it's more for socializing than exercising or walking/running. Only two dogs per owner are allowed. See photo for rules.

A couple of possible negatives:
o There is only one entrance. I have read this can lead to dogs ganging up on incoming dogs.
o There are 90° corners. I have read this permits aggressive dogs to "corner" other dogs in attacks.

Though there's lots of parking it's a popular park and may be crowded on weekends. Parking extends continuously from the posted coordinates. It is brand new as of this submission -- put into service on May 3, 2009.
Level of Enclosure: Completely Enclosed

Description of Enclosure:
It's completely enclosed by a black chain link fence. There are separately gated entry and exit enclosures for unleashing and leashing your dog. The large dog area is much larger than the small dog area.
