Description: This wall sized mural (note the doors in the building) shows off some of the people of Lompoc through the years, all put together into this collage of Lompoc citizens.
This mural, with its 12 large portraits, celebrates the diversity of people from various ethnic groups who have played a role in local history, including prominent Lompoc black leader Louis Artis, Chumash Indian leader Juanita Centeno, and Gin Chow, the Chinese philosopher, farmer and businessman whose lawsuit against Santa Barbara helped establish the foundation for California water rights law.
