Constructed in 1832 as the Union Meeting House, the Old North Church is remarkably intact. It has no central heat and is lit by a chandelier consisting of 14 kerosene lamps. It is owned by the Danville Historical Society.

The building is used for candlelit services in the summer, weddings, funerals, and the Danville High School Baccalaureate.
