"The Mount Hood Hotel Annex - 1912

The Mt. Hood Hotel Annex, constructed in 1912-13, was built as an annex to the original wooden hotel which stood to the north.  The first floor housed commercial businesses and the second story had apartments and additional hotel rooms.  In 1925, the owners moved the hotel lobby to the Annex so it fronted on Oak Street, the main route for motorists touring the Mt. Hood Loop and the Columbia River highways.  Restored in 1989, the hotel was listed in the National Reister of Historic Places in 1994."

The hotel now operates as the Hood River Hotel and restaurant Cornerstone Cusine.
