Cooleman Ridge Trig point. 727m
Cooleman Ridge Trig point is situated between Chapman and Kambah in the Canberra Town Centre of Western Creek. It is the second highest point of Cooleman ridge. A ridge approximately 3.5 km long and an area of 187 ha.
Views of the city, Woden town centre, Tuggeranong and Western Creek can be had as with many mountains in the 360 degrees vista.
The ridge has been part of the Canberra Nature park since 1993. It was formally a sheep and cattle grazing property.
As it is a nature reserve dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

Towards the southern end of the ridge is another Trig point called Mt Arawang Trig point. 765m. This is the highest point of Cooleman ridge
Easy access can be gained to this trig point by parking on Monkman Street Chapman. Along this street you will find a good but steep path to the trig.
