Earliest visitors in 1850's. Grandparents of some of us recalled the "fire fall" of California Gold PBS. The most famous image might have been the old car 1910 at Glacier Point. Abe Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant during the Civil War.
There is a ski area at Badger Pass in the winter. Horseback, hiking, rock climbs during the summer.
