The mural's theme is the natural environment of Neary Lagoon and the organisms which find their homes in its water and along its green banks. The boardwalk which crosses Neary Lagoon is pictured, with a charming portrait of two people (perhaps a mother and child) peacefully enjoying the view.
The thin shape of this mural is dictated by its location on a sloped retaining wall bordering Neary Lagoon Park. The wall forms a shallow triangle and the mural continues around the corner until the space is too thin to paint.
