From Bryce Point, one of the most scenic vistas of the full amphitheater and all its wonders amaze the visitor. Bryce Point is famous for its extraordinary sunrises. From here you can watch the tops of hoodoos set alight as if by fire from the first rays of the rising sun. Like fire, the orange light quickly spreads driving shadows from all but the deepest recesses of the amphitheater.

Many people have different favorite lookouts for a variety of reasons. This one was my favorite because it juts out into the amphitheater providing a greater view of the amphitheater itself and also the valley to the south. This overlook is also an access point for the 23 mile long Under the Rim Trail and the Peek-a-Boo Loop Trail. There is a slight downhill trail from the parking area to reach the lookout.
