Description (1935): 2.2 MI W FROM BOONE. 2.2 MILES WEST ALONG A COUNTY ROAD FROM THE CLINCHFIELD, CAROLINA AND OHIO RAILWAY STATION AT BOONE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, AT THE JUNCTION OF COUNTY HIGHWAY 508, 23 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD, 5 FEET NORTHEAST OF A GATE, 2 FEET EAST OF A WIRE FENCE, AND 1 FOOT HIGHER THAN THE HIGHWAY. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED L 108 1935 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST.

Gate and wire fence are gone. BM probably survived as it is right next to a power/telephone pole.
