Peaceful park in the middle of Valparaiso. The park is large, open and playground-free. Benches are provided around the monument for visitors to spend time in quiet reflection.
Jets from nearby Eglin AFB frequently fly overhead and serve as a reminder that our veterans are still off honorably fighting wars to keep us safe and free.

We found this memorial while hunting a geocache in the park. Valparaiso maintains a older, small town feel that has been lost by most of the surrounding communities in the quest for growth and tourism.
