In "How to Stop An Exploding Man" (season 1, episode 22), a painting prophesizes that someone will blow up New York.
Having absorbed too many "abilities," Peter begins to radiate as he and Sylar face off. His brother Nathan, newly-elected to Congress, flies to the plaza to help. He knows that in order to save New York he must fly his brother to a safe height, likely killing them both. Most of the scene takes place in front of the fountain.
