This corner of the park has many memorials dedicated to vetrans. There is also a rose garden in the area. The inscription on the marker reads "BLUE STAR MEMORIAL HIGHWAY A TRIBUTE TO THE NATION'S ARMED FORCES WHO SERVED IN WORLD WAR II."
