Kansas City's only revolving restaurant, Skies, is located atop the Hyatt Regency-- offering guests cocktails and dinner with a panoramic view of the city.
The restaurant's outer wall is composed of 72 plate-glass windows, and the arrangement of the tables means that once seated, diners can see just one or two other tables (and the entire city at their feet).
Cuisine:
Skies features generous portions of steaks and seafood grilled over applewood chips. Other specialties include seafood duet with rock shrimp sauted in Pernod Sauce paired with flame grilled salmon served with pasta, roasted rosemary free range chicken with oregano pesto and Parmigiano cheese.
Skies offers an array of desserts and is famed for its' Skie High Pie with layers of ice cream and a graham cracker crust. Topped with whipped cream. A must have!
