This section of beach is a City of Monterey park. Attractive boardwalks cross the upper dunes, keeping visitors from trampling the fragile native vegetation. There are some benches and picnic tables, but not much else beside surf and sand. This area is easily accessible from the Coastal Trail, for bicyclists and walkers, and there is also public parking on the street nearby.
