A.M. Drake donated the land and New York’s Trinity Episcopal Church donated the money to build the church. Noted architect Ellis Lawrence, founder of the University of Oregon School of Architecture designed the church. In 1951, the children of Brooks-Scanlon executive Harry Keyes Brooks gave a grant of $25,000 to build the addition on the east elevation. (From History Sign at church)
