The McDonald's at this location was constructed in 1997. It replaced a typical McDonald's from the 1970s, which replaced an earlier McDonald's building from the 1950s. That restaurant was owned by franchisee Art Bender, who was an employee of the McDonalds Brothers in San Bernardino before Ray Kroc bought the company.
