A pair of *gigantic* red baseball caps stand outside the home plate gate at Angel Stadium.

These two identical hats were added during the last major renovation of the stadium. On the inside of the hatband is an indication of the increased size: 649½". Originally sporting a dark blue color to match the "flying Angel" logo, the headgear was painted red before the uniform change in the 2002 season. Underneath the hats are the handprints and signatures (in cement) of several famous Angels.
