Beside the western entrance of the church is St Guron’s Holywell. Water was piped from another well to the outer wall of the churchyard, two carved lions' heads in the wall spout water into a granite trough beside the main churchyard steps at Church Square. There is a datestone of 1545 above the lions' heads.
The well is at the side of a busy road junction.
