Summers Hardware and Supply Company ("Summers" or the "Company") is located in Johnson City, Tennessee and has been a wholesale distributor of industrial and hardware products for more than 60 years. Example products include a full-line of industrial supplies and equipment, heating and air conditioning equipment and supplies, automotive repair parts, plumbing supplies and fixtures, electrical supplies, and kitchen and bath cabinetry.
Although started in 1893, the Company has been distributing wholesale hardware products in parts of Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina since the 1930s. In order to augment the hardware sales division, an industrial supplies division was launched in the 1970s, and an automotive parts division was added in the early 1980s. By 1990, these new divisions accounted for more than one half of the Company's sales.
